Naureen — Senior Product Designer, Enterprise Software & AI

Hello, I'm Naureen.

Senior Product Designer, specialising in enterprise software, AI-enhanced experiences, and product strategy.

I've spent the last 15+ years designing enterprise software, products that support complex workflows, business-critical decisions, and the people who rely on them every day. I enjoy untangling complexity, aligning teams around the right problems, and designing experiences that are intuitive for users and meaningful for businesses.

How I typically work

understand · reframe · explore · deliver · evolve

Every project is different. The process adapts to the product, the team, and the challenges at hand. These are the principles that shape how I work.

Understand

Spend time with users, stakeholders, and the business to understand the real problem.

Reframe

Challenge assumptions, find opportunities, and align the team on the right problem.

Explore

Generate concepts, test ideas, and weigh trade-offs before committing to a direction.

Deliver

Collaborate closely with engineering to turn ideas into practical experiences.

Evolve

Measure, learn, and keep improving the product over time.

About

I've spent most of my career designing software people rely on every day.

CRMs, dashboards, internal platforms, and enterprise tools rarely end up in design galleries, but they're where thoughtful design can make the biggest difference.

I enjoy understanding how people work, how information flows through an organisation, and where products create unnecessary friction. More often than not, the real challenge isn't designing the interface. It's helping teams navigate competing user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.

That's why I start with research, information architecture, and systems thinking before opening Figma. I want to understand how everything fits together before deciding how it should look.

More recently, my focus has shifted towards designing AI-enhanced enterprise experiences. I don't believe AI should replace expertise. I believe it should help people work with greater confidence by making complex information easier to understand and act on.

Alongside my design practice, I'm completing an MBA at Boston University. It's broadened how I think about product decisions, giving me a deeper appreciation for the commercial, operational, and organisational context behind the products we design.

Outside work, you'll usually find me with a camera, exploring the Irish coastline, or planning my next hike.
